We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer – Portable Equipment & Power Systems

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• To plan, supervise, and execute preventive and corrective maintenance on portable construction equipment and power systems to ensure operational efficiency and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Maintain welding machines, air compressors, generators, and portable pumps.
• Perform engine overhauls and electrical troubleshooting.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules and job plans.
• Conduct load testing and performance evaluations.
• Supervise technicians and coordinate spare parts procurement.
• Ensure compliance with HSE and OEM standards.

Requirements

• B.Eng / HND in Mechanical Engineering  / Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Professional certification (preferred).
• 5 – 10 years relevant experience.
• Strong hands-on diesel engine and generator expertise.

Core Competence:

Diesel diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, leadership, RCA, safety compliance.
