Job Title: Maintenance Engineer (Graduate Trainee)

Location: Surulere, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The Maintenance Graduate Trainee will support routine Truck/vehicle maintenance, inspections, and workshop operations while receiving structured on-the-job training.
• The role focuses on building practical skills in preventive maintenance, basic diagnostics, safety compliance, and maintenance reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with routine servicing and preventive maintenance of trucks and equipment.
• Support in identifying basic vehicle faults and breakdown maintenance under supervision.
• Document and update maintenance data, service records, and inspection reports accurately.
• Analyze basic maintenance data to support maintenance planning and decision-making.
• Follow safety standards, workshop procedures and Maintenance policies.
• Participate in training programs and hands-on learning activities.
• Use the fleet tracking system to monitor trucks and drivers and identify preventive maintenance needs.

Requirements

• B. Eng. Mechanical/Electrical, Diploma in Mechanical, Automotive, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Fresh graduate or up to 1 year of experience
• Strong willingness to learn and work in a logistics environment
• Basic understanding of vehicle systems is an advantage
• Proximity to the Office will be added advantage.
