Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Engineer to oversee the maintenance, repair, and efficient operation of machinery and equipment within our oil engineering operations.
• The ideal candidate will ensure minimal downtime, maintain operational efficiency, and uphold safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs promptly
• Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements
• Maintain maintenance records and technical reports
• Ensure compliance with HSE and operational standards
• Coordinate with operations teams to minimize downtime
• Support installation and testing of equipment when required

Requirements

• B.Eng / HND in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field
• Proven experience in maintenance engineering, preferably in oil & gas or engineering firms
• Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills
• Good understanding of industrial equipment and maintenance procedures
• Knowledge of HSE standards and compliance
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
