Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Summary

• Cross Beverage Nigeria Limited is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to join our production team in the pure water and table water unit.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining production machines used in water filtration, filling, sealing, and packaging processes.
• You will play a key role in ensuring product quality, machine efficiency, and compliance with safety and hygiene standards.
• This role requires a proactive individual with attention to detail and a commitment to operational excellence in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
Machine Operation & Production Efficiency:

• Set up, operate, and monitor water treatment and packaging machines to ensure smooth and efficient production flow.
• Carry out basic troubleshooting and minor maintenance tasks to reduce downtime and maintain machine performance.
• Monitor production output and ensure water is filled, sealed, and packaged according to company specifications.
• Keep accurate records of machine operations, daily output, and equipment issues.
• Coordinate with the production supervisor to meet daily and weekly production targets.

Quality Assurance, Safety & Hygiene:

• Perform routine quality checks to ensure the purity of water and integrity of packaging (e.g., proper sealing, labeling, and fill levels).
• Maintain cleanliness of machines and work area in line with company hygiene standards.
• Adhere strictly to workplace safety protocols and use appropriate PPE at all times.
• Report any quality issues, equipment malfunctions, or safety hazards immediately to the supervisor.
• Support compliance with NAFDAC regulations and internal quality control procedures.

Requirements and Qualifications

• SSCE/OND or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a production or factory environment (preferably in water, beverage, or FMCG).
• Basic understanding of machinery operations and minor maintenance.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required.

Salary
N40,000 – N50,000 Monthly.
