Ardova Plc is a Nigerian leading indigenous and integrated energy company involved in the distribution of petroleum products. Our services also involve the manufacturing and distribution of a wide range of quality lubricants from our oil blending plant in Apapa, Lagos. These lubricants include: Super V, Visco 2000 and Diesel Motor Oil. We are also the sole authorised distributor of Shell branded Helix Engine Oils in Nigeria.

Job Title: LPG Retail Analyst

Job Summary

• The role holder will support the activities of the LPG department nationwide and will specifically gather LPG data from various sources, develop and manage data analysis dashboard for the LPG department, collate and analyse daily sales data from retails outlets, VMIs and plants.

Job Details

• Gather LPG data from various sources, including market reports, industry publications, and proprietary databases on daily basis.
• Develop and manage data analysis dashboard for the LPG department
• Carry out periodic benchmarking of other competition with the LPG sector
• Prepare weekly sales trends report
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
• Analyse supply and demand factors affecting the LPG market.
• Assess price trends, develop and maintain quantitative models to predict market behaviour.
• Identify and evaluate market opportunities and challenges.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Make recommendations to senior management based on findings from analysed data.
• Work closely with trading, risk management, and business development teams to align analysis with business objectives.
• Engaging with external stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and industry analysts, to gather insights and validate findings.

Requirements
Education:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Data Analysis, Economics, Business Administration, Finance or related fields.

Experience:

• 6 years’ experience in a similar role with proven capacity
• Relevant professional certification is an added advantage

Skills:

• Good understanding of the LPG business
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, Python, R, SQL) and experience with data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Critical thinking and problem-solving with a results-driven mindset.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to adapt to changing environments.
• Good understanding of the local and international Oil & Gas sector including guiding principles and regulations. Good knowledge of marketing operations in the downstream oil and gas marketing sector.
