Job Title: Logistics Truck Fleet Manager

Location: Victoria Island & Epe, Lagos

About the Role

• We are looking for a proactive Logistics Truck Fleet Manager to oversee our truck operations across Victoria Island & Epe.
• You will be responsible for ensuring our fleet runs efficiently, safely, and on schedule to meet delivery targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Fleet Operations: Plan, schedule, and monitor daily truck movements and deliveries across VI and Epe routes
• Maintenance & Compliance: Ensure all trucks are roadworthy, serviced on time, and meet regulatory requirements (vehicle papers, insurance, permits)
• Driver Management: Supervise, train, and schedule drivers. Track performance, conduct briefings, and enforce safety standards
• Route & Cost Optimization: Plan cost-effective routes, monitor fuel consumption, and reduce downtime
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of trips, maintenance, expenses, fuel, and incidents
• Client Coordination: Liaise with dispatch, warehouse, and clients to ensure on-time pickups and deliveries
• Problem Solving: Respond quickly to breakdowns, accidents, delays, or route issues
• Reporting: Provide weekly reports on fleet performance, costs, and KPIs to management

Requirements*

• Experience: Minimum 3 years managing a truck/fleet operation. Logistics or haulage experience required
• Education: OND/HND/B.Sc in Logistics, Transport Management, or related field
• Knowledge: Good understanding of Lagos routes, especially VI and Epe corridors. Familiarity with haulage regulations
• Skills: Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Proficient with Excel and fleet tracking tools
• Other: A valid driver’s license is an advantage. Must be a resident in or willing to work between VI and EP

Salary
N200,000 – N250,000 monthly.
