Job Title: Logistics and Operations Officer (Warehouse Management)

Job Responsibilities

• Tackling and resolving any issues or complaints that may arise.
• Supervising, coaching, and training the warehouse workforce.
• Keeping track of the cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeline targets.
• Working in conformity with laws, regulations, and policies.
• Overseeing the movement, storage, and distribution of goods or materials.
• Resolving delivery inconsistencies or delay.
• Developing an environment that fosters open and positive team communication by setting expectations, and communicating the company’s goals or objectives.
• Taking care of inquiries or compliance issues related to shipping or transportation matters.
• Examining, identifying, planning and managing logistics and warehousing operations which involves ensuring that accurate and complete accounting, reporting, and internal control systems are functioning and that all relevant records are accurately maintain.
• Dispatch the goods as per SO/ Invoices under SOP by Pick Pack Ship methodology
• Monthly and daily perpetual stock counts and reports.
• Weekly / Fortnightly Expiry Reports.
• Ensure the Conditional FEFO to be followed.
• Follow the storage norms and conditions established for each product range.
• Communicate the Sales / Finance departments on daily / Weekly MIS.
• Generate and verify Documentation created and printed out of system.
• Complete warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results:
  • GRNs, Invoices / Waybills, GRN reports / Dispatch reports.
• Train and re-train the staff on GWP / Safety.
• Any other task will be added as per business requirements.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Academic Degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration preferred
• Minimum of 6 years’ cognate experience as a warehouse manager working at a Food & Beverages, Home & Personal Care or Appliances & Electronics Warehouse.
• Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices.
• Experienced managing a team.
• Proficient understanding of the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of Supply Chain, Material Management, Warehouse Management, Logistics and all related focus areas.
• Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases; Knowledge of ERP is desirable.
• Excellent proficiency in MS Office suite.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent understanding of modern warehousing practices and methods.

Salary
N500,000 – N600,000 monthly
