Job Title: Logistics Officer

Job Summary

• We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Logistics Officer to join our team.
• The Logistics Officer will be responsible for coordinating the transportation, storage, and distribution of goods.
• This role requires strong logistical planning skills, the ability to multitask, and a focus on efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Responsibility

• Coordinate the transportation of goods from suppliers to warehouses or distribution centers.
• Plan and schedule shipments to ensure timely delivery to customers.
• Monitor inventory levels and track shipments using logistics software.
• Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and customers to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.
• Optimize transportation routes to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
• Assist in logistics planning for site mobilization, relocation, or staff movements.
• Provide admin support for office and site supply logistics.
• Prepare and maintain delivery logs, waybills, and inventory movement records.
• Support the warehousing team in organizing, storing, and retrieving materials.
• Liaise with third-party transporters and delivery service providers.
• Negotiate favourable rates and ensure compliance with delivery timelines and standards.
• Organize and monitor the transportation of construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from project sites.

Qualification

• OND / HND / B.Sc. in Logistics, Business Admin, Transport Management, or related field
• 1–3 years of experience in logistics, preferably in construction or real estate.
• Good knowledge of Abuja or project city routes and transportation systems.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and basic inventory or tracking tools.
• Driving skills is an added advantage.

Salary
N80,000 – N150,000 Monthly.
