Job Title: Logistics Officer

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Overall Purpose

• To ensure optimal utilization/maintenance of the company’s vehicles and execution of approved logistics plans, policies, and procedures towards ensuring achievement of the company’s immediate and strategic objectives.

Principal Accountabilities

• Co-ordinate timely dispatch and arrival of bakery products / raw material to all outlets
• Plan and co-ordinate the management of all company vehicles.
• Management of vendors to all company artisans (service providers)
• Ensure appropriate weighing, pricing/quotes for all vehicle-related issues on repairs, maintenance, and fixings
• Ensure all logistics representatives/ Drivers are following the company’s core values regarding their duties and work tools.
• Coordinates and manages third-party vendors/vehicles to minimal cost or complete eradication from the business.
• Responsible for reducing operational costs through effective fuel management and optimization of logistics processes.
• Assist in liaising with federal, state, and local government officials and other government agencies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for vehicle-related issues.
