Job Title: Logistics Driver

Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are seeking a reliable and experienced Logistics Driver to support the timely and safe delivery of books and publishing materials to our customers, sales points, and distribution channels.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling logistics operations efficiently while maintaining professionalism and care in the delivery of our products.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles to deliver books and materials to designated locations across various regions.
• Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off of products, materials, and staff as assigned.
• Load and unload items carefully, ensuring proper handling of publishing materials.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, trip sheets, and report delivery status daily.
• Carry out routine vehicle checks and ensure cleanliness, fuel, and roadworthiness at all times.
• Promptly report any mechanical issues, delays, or road incidents to the Logistics Supervisor.
• Assist with warehouse operations when required.
• Comply with all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
• Represent the company with a courteous and professional attitude at all times.

Qualifications and Requirements

• SSCE / WAEC / NECO

OR

• National Diploma (ND) / National Certificate in Education (NCE)

Experience:

• Minimum of 4 years driving experience, preferably in a similar logistics or delivery role.

Licensing & Skills:

• Must possess a valid Driver’s License
• Knowledge of major roads and routes across Nigeria (especially within Ibadan)
• Ability to use Google Maps or navigation tools (preferred)
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge
• Good communication and time management skills
• Physical fitness and willingness to lift or move loads when necessary.

Working Conditions:

• May involve inter-state travel, early morning dispatch, or weekend delivery schedules
• May assist with physical distribution or warehouse-related tasks

Salary
N80,000 – N100,000 Monthly.
