MFS Financial Services Limited is a new financial institution set up to meet the needs of the people by grantig quality credit services to her existing and potential customers in a simple way. It is one of a member of a group of company in the financial industry in Nigeria. It is located at the suburb area of Lagos State where it was discovered for emerging business opportunities.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Loan Officer

Location: Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• To drive the business of the company.
• To carry out the activities of the branch business team (Marketers)
• Proper and adequate understanding of the products and services.
• To market and sell the products and services of the company (Loans, investment etc.)
• Creation of quality loan.
• Must be able to have good understanding of group lending model.
• To increase the customer base of the company.
• To grow the loan portfolio of the company in line with the strategic set target and ensure portfolio quality is achieved at all time.
• Ensure proper and adequate monitoring of the entire portfolio.
• Retainership of customers
• Carry out appraisal/verification of prospective and existing/repeating customers before disbursement.
• Feedback – Give report for management decision making where necessary.

Qualification Requirements

• OND, HND / B.Sc in Marketing, Business Administration and other related discipline.
• A minimum of 1 year cognate experience in microfinance industry is required.
• Good display of computer skills (Microsoft office tools)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multi-task
• Understanding of microfinance institution best practices and regulations.
• Ability to work under pressure.

• Ability to analyse financial records and data
