Job Title: Live-in Nanny

Location: Apo legislative Quarters, Abuja (FCT)

Job Description

• A nanny’s job involvesproviding comprehensive, personalized childcare in a family’s home, focusing on safety, development, and well-being by managing daily routines (feeding, bathing, dressing), organizing educational/fun activities, assisting with homework, handling light child-related chores (laundry, tidying), providing transport, and communicating with parents, all while creating a nurturing, stimulating environment for the children.
• Duties can expand to include general household tasks, errands, and travel, depending on family needs.

Responsibilities

• Child Supervision & Care:Ensure constant safety, provide physical care (feeding, bathing, hygiene), manage schedules, and offer emotional support.
• Development & Education: Plan age-appropriate activities, games, reading, and outings; help with homework and social skills.
• Daily Logistics: Transport children to/from school, activities, and appointments; manage nap times.
• Child-Related Housekeeping: Tidy play areas, clean up after meals, do children’s laundry, and keep their rooms organized.
• Communication: Keep parents updated on the child’s progress, behavior, and daily events.

Potential Additional Duties:

• Meal prep for children (and sometimes the family).
• Grocery shopping and running errands.
• Pet care or plant care.
• Traveling with the family.

• Ability to follow family’s parenting style.
• Basic first aid knowledge.

Salary
N50,000 – N60,000 monthly.
