Job Title: Litigation Associate (Lawyer)

Job Summary

• Our client, a reputable legal organisation, is seeking a Litigation Associate with 2–3 years post-call experience.
• The ideal candidate will be actively engaged in core litigation practice and demonstrate strong professional judgment, integrity, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced legal environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle litigation matters from inception to conclusion with minimal supervision
• Draft legal documents including briefs, pleadings, motions, and written addresses
• Conduct legal research and provide sound legal opinions
• Appear in court and represent clients effectively where required
• Manage case files and ensure proper documentation and follow-up
• Collaborate with other team members on complex legal matters
• Maintain strict confidentiality of client andorganisational information.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) Degree
• Called to the Nigerian Bar (B.L) with 2–3 years post-call experience
• Active experience in core litigation practice.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong team spirit and emotional intelligence in dealing with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel
• Excellent legal drafting and writing skills
• Proficiency in computer use and relevant legal/office applications
• Strong research and analytical abilities

• High level of integrity and trustworthiness, with ability to handle confidential information responsibly

Salary
N200,000 – N250,000 monthly.
