Job Title: Lifts and Elevator Operator

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

• As an Elevator Operator, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers between floors, assisting passengers when required, maintaining the elevator environment, and promptly reporting any operational or safety concerns.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Operate the elevator safely and efficiently, transporting passengers between floors
• Ensure passengers have a safe, comfortable, and pleasant experience
• Assist passengers, particularly elderly persons, persons with disabilities, and those with young children
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly elevator environment
• Respond courteously to passenger questions and provide directions or basic information about the building when required
• Monitor the elevator during operation and promptly report any unusual sounds, faults, or safety concerns to management
• Perform routine checks to ensure the elevator is operating properly
• Follow all established safety and operational procedures

Who We’re Looking For

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
• Previous experience as an Elevator Operator, Lift Operator, Customer Service Assistant, or in a similar role is an advantage
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable, responsible, and punctual
• Good communication skills
• Able to remain calm and professional in stressful situations
• Basic understanding of maintenance and safety procedures
• Professional appearance and a positive attitude
