Women Safe House Sustenance Initiative is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and rehabilitating women and girls from all forms of gender-based violence (GBV) in Nigeria. We provide shelter, legal aid, healthcare, and comprehensive services to survivors of rape, domestic violence, female genital mutilation, child marriage, harmful traditional practices, and sex trafficking. Since 2016, we have created safe spaces for countless women and girls to thrive.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Legal Officer

Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Position Type: Full-time

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Law
• Minimum of 4 years post-call experience
• Experience in NGO management or with women-focused organizations
• Fluent in English and Yoruba
• Strong communication skills
• Proven experience in legal representation
• Resident in Ibadan, Oyo State
• Tech-savvy and able to leverage technology for excellent performance
• Initiative- taking and capable of working independently.
