Job Title: Legal Officer

Job Summary

• We’re looking for a Legal Officer, who is a member of the Legal team responsible for providing robust legal support, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing corporate governance matters within the Nigerian oil and gas sector.

Qualifications

• Barrister at Law (BL), Bachelor of Laws (LL. B)
• First degree in Law from a recognized university, with a minimum of a second-class grade.
• Minimum of 2 years’ post-call legal experience within the Legal department of a reputable and structured business environment.
• Membership of ICSAN, or equivalent professional body is an added advantage.

• Oil & Gas Industry Knowledge.
• Knowledge of the local, national and international laws and regulations.
• Excellent Company Secretarial Practice.
• Corporate Governance and Board Management.
