We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Legal Advisor

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial and construction contracts, including EPC contracts, NDAs, subcontracts, and service agreements.
• Provide legal support across all project phases and advise on contractual risks and dispute avoidance.
• Manage legal documentation, including MOUs, JV agreements, shareholder agreements, and IP rights.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and monitor legal developments affecting the business.
• Conduct risk assessments, internal audits, and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Represent the company in disputes, litigation, or arbitration; liaise with external counsel.
• Support corporate governance, including statutory registers, board meetings, and regulatory filings.

Requirements

• LL.B and BL from the Nigerian Law School.
• 5–7 years post-call experience, ideally in construction, infrastructure, or EPC.
• Strong knowledge of construction, corporate, commercial, and contract law.
• Experience with FIDIC contracts, PPPs, and regulatory compliance is a plus.
• Familiarity with land use, real estate, zoning, and environmental laws is desirable.
