We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Laundry Attendant

Location: Ijebu-ode, Ogun

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, and wash hotel linens, towels, staff uniforms, and guest laundry.
• Use appropriate washing, drying, and ironing techniques based on fabric type.
• Ensure that all laundry is cleaned, pressed, and stored properly.
• Identify and treat stains to maintain fabric quality
• Operate laundry machines, dryers, and ironing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Report any malfunctioning laundry equipment to maintenance for repairs.
• Maintain a clean and organized laundry area.
• Inspect washed items for cleanliness and damage, ensuring high standards are met.
• Keep track of linen and uniform inventory to report shortages or damages.
• Assist in ordering laundry supplies such as detergents and fabric softeners.
• Handle guest laundry requests, including washing, drying, and ironing.
• Follow specific instructions for delicate fabrics and special care items.
• Package and return guest laundry in a timely and professional manner.
• Follow proper hygiene and safety procedures, including handling chemicals safely.
• Adhere to hotel policies regarding lost and found items in laundry.
• Ensure compliance with health and sanitation regulations.

Qualifications

• Interested candidates should possess an OND qualification with 3 years experience.
