Restaurant Supervisor

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain overall quality and service standards of all kitchen production and environment.
  • Stand in to check weekly paperwork and sign off. All records must be checked during production.
  • Ensuring that requisitions and proper opening and closing functions are being completed each shift.
  • Maintain cleanliness of premise on a daily basis and ensure the premises are cleaned before closing of daily activities
  • Move throughout the facility to visually monitor and take action to ensure quality service standards are met.
  • Interact positively with customers and resolve problems to the satisfaction of involved parties.
  • Communicate clearly to provide clear direction to the staff.
  • Observe performance and encourage improvement where necessary.
  • Ensure maintenance of equipment by calling for repairs and training of staff on proper use
  • Demonstrate positive leadership characteristics which inspire team members to meet and exceed standards.

Requirements

  • A Tertiary Degree is required.
  • Minimum of 1 year work experience.
  • Restaurant Supervisors with prior hands-on experience in the fast food sector are needed in our restaurant outlets in Abijo (Ibeju-Lekki) and Lekki Phase 1.
  • Use of Excel, knowledge of i-class will be an added advantage.
  • Must have worked in a fast food restaurant as a Team Lead or Supervisor.
  • Ability to delegate tasks and follow through till completion.
  • Proactivity and use of initiative is required for this role.
  • Must be flexible to take on any shift (morning and afternoon).
  • Candidates must be resided in close proximity to their preferred location as this role does not provide accommodation.

Daily Reports:

  • Daily Sales Analysis
  • Shift Attendance
  • Maintenance.

Remuneration

  • Salary: N50,000 Monthly.
  • Other Benefits: Staff Lunch and Monthly Relief Allowance.

 

Internal Control Officer

Job Brief

  • An Internal Control Officer is needed at J-Six Chicken, a subsidiary of J-Six Group. The successful candidate will ensure employee and departmental compliance with company policies and processes, detecting, escalating and eliminating fraud from the system, and conducting regular audits.

Key Areas of Functionality

  • Inventory
  • InternalCashHandling
  • Financial.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting or any other related field.
  • 2 – 3 years’ experience in financial audit in the hospitality sector is a must.
  • A strong knowledge of financial statement analysis and interpretation.
  • Proficient in Accounting software
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel, i-class will be an added advantage..
  • Ability to work as a stand alone and pay attention to details.
  • Excellent communication skills.

 

Sales Representative

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers when they enter and leave the establishments.
  • Provide them with accurate information in response to customers queries.
  • Compare prices and features across products to help customers buy better to their requirements.
  • Cross-sell products.
  • Maintain an inventory and ensure that stocks are always full.
  • Help customers with returns and exchange of products.
  • Collaborate with fellow employees to provide high-quality customer service.
  • Explain and tell customers about discounts and offers currently going on.
  • Constantly replenish information on all products/merchandise such as price, features, after-sales service, etc.

Requirements

  • OND / HND in Marketing, Entrepreneurship or a related subject
  • 2 – 3 years experience as a sales representative or in similar roles, preferably in the FMCG sector.
  • Excellent record of achieving targets and quota
  • A proactive and customer-oriented Retail Sales officer, with prior experience in the FMCG sector.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Multi-tasking ability and organisational skills.
  • Basic knowledge of computers and inventory software.
  • Only candidates living around Ajah axis will be considered for this role.

 

Administrative Officer

Duties

  • Act as the point of contact between the management and vendors
  • Screen and direct phone calls and distribute correspondence
  • Extensively manage e-mails including checking incoming/outgoing emails and following up as necessary
  • Respond accurately to internal and external information requests
  • Take dictation and minutes, prepare reports and documentation for meetings and appointments
  • Scheduling and coordinating appointments and meetings, maintaining an events calendar, and sending reminders.
  • Copying, scanning, and faxing documents, as well as taking notes.
  • Preparing facilities for scheduled events and arranging refreshments, if required.
  • Observing best business practices and etiquette.
  • Devise and maintain office filing system
  • Overseeing ad-hoc administrative and project requirements as needed.
  • Ensuring the premises is in pristine condition at all time.

Requirements

  • HND / B.Sc Degree
  • Minimum of 1 year working experience
  • Must live in close proximity to the preferred location
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to act on confidentiality at all times.
  • Proficiency in typing and report writing
  • Proactive problem solver and flexibility is important.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
  • Fast learner and must be able to pay attention to details.
  • In-depth knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and appointment scheduling software such as MS Outlook

Junior Account Officer

Job Description

  • Monitor usage of products and escalate discrepancies
  • Keeping track of inventory and ensuring proper record is kept
  • Contribute in the weekly and daily product/production cost analysis
  • Monitor the inbound of goods and issuing out invoices to customers
  • Issuing out waybills to the Van Sales Representatives
  • Collate minute of technical meetings and forward to Management
  • Assist in preparing the monthly Management account
  • Reconciliation of all modes of payment and ensuring payment is remitted appropriately.

Requirements

  • Minimum of HND in Accounting, Business Administration or similar field.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a Finance or Accounting department.
  • Open to learning.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting.
  • Basic use of Microsoft Excel is important.
  • Proactive and ability to pay attention to details.
  • Outstanding documentation skills and well organized.
  • Candidate must reside around Obalende – Lekki axis.

 

Restaurant Manager

Duties

  • Develop plans and tactics to achieve and exceed daily sales targets
  • Oversee the general activities of the restaurant
  • Maintain a good working relationship with suppliers and artisans.
  • Ensure orderliness among staff and all staff are carrying out their duties on time
  • Resolve customer’s complaints professionally and review customer’s surveys
  • Ensure products are delivered according to items ordered and the company’s standard
  • Develop and implement methods of improving customer satisfaction through excellent service
  • Oversee food production, storage and presentation to ensure compliance with food and safety regulations
  • Monitor Inventory to ensure that food supplies and restaurant essentials are adequate
  • Ensure front counter procedures are being used consistently by all staff
  • Provide individuals with development training to maximize their skills
  • Manage absence and disciplinary issues, and escalate to the Human Resources department.
  • Keep abreast of local competition and develop plans to retain customers
  • Manage the implementation of local sales-building programs
  • Staff incentive planning and implementation
  • Seek and suggest ways to reduce waste and operational costs of the restaurant

Requirements

  • A Tertiary Degree in Business or a related field
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in a leadership role in the fast food sector, with a track record of achieving excellent sales figures
  • Outstanding leadership skills and ability to manage disciplinary issues
  • Communication and comprehensive skill is important for this role
  • Ability to deescalate tense situations with customers
  • Ability to delegate and follow through
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, and experience using-class software would be an added advantage.
