Job Title: Land Surveyor

About the Role

• We are seeking an experienced Land Surveyor with strong technical expertise and a proven track record in construction surveying to join our dynamic project team in Osun State.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct accurate land, boundary, and topographic surveys for construction projects.
• Interpret engineering and construction drawings and provide precise site measurements.
• Establish control points, benchmarks, grades, and elevations for project execution.
• Utilize modern surveying equipment such as Total Stations, GPS/GNSS systems, and AutoCAD Civil 3D for data collection and analysis.
• Prepare survey reports, maps, sketches, and documentation in accordance with project requirements.
• Work closely with engineers, project managers, and site teams to ensure construction activities align with approved designs and specifications.
• Carry out as-built surveys and verify completed works for accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor site progress and provide survey support throughout project execution.
• Ensure proper maintenance, calibration, and safe handling of surveying equipment.
• Adhere to company safety standards, quality procedures, and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of on-site surveying experience, preferably within the construction industry.
• Proficiency in the use of Total Stations, GPS/GNSS equipment, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and other surveying software.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, engineering drawings, and site layout procedures.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively under pressure and within project timelines.
• Professional registration or certification with relevant professional bodies is an added advantage.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary project team.
