Job Title: Laboratory Receptionist

Location: NTA road, Rumuosi, Port Harcourt – Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Summary

• The Laboratory Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for patients visiting the laboratory.
• The role involves patient registration, appointment scheduling, sample documentation, payment coordination, and ensuring smooth communication between patients and laboratory personnel.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and visitors professionally.
• Register patients and maintain accurate records.
• Schedule laboratory appointments where applicable.
• Verify patient information before sample collection.
• Receive laboratory requests and issue receipts where necessary.
• Coordinate communication between patients and laboratory staff.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Handle telephone enquiries and respond appropriately.
• Maintain organized filing systems.
• Assist with administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements

• OND / HND / BSc Degree in Business Administration, Health Information Management or related fields
• Previous receptionist or customer service experience in a healthcare setting is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Computer literacy.
• Good organizational skills.
• Professional appearance and attitude.

Salary
N70,000 monthly.
