Job Summary

• We are currently seeking a competent and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Technician to support our laboratory operations.
• The Medical Laboratory Technician will assist in performing routine laboratory tests, preparing samples, maintaining laboratory equipment, and supporting Medical Laboratory Scientists to ensure efficient and accurate diagnostic services.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in collecting, labeling, and processing patient samples
• Perform routine laboratory tests under supervision
• Prepare reagents and laboratory equipment for use
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory
• Ensure proper storage and handling of laboratory specimens
• Assist in maintaining laboratory equipment and reporting faults
• Keep accurate records of laboratory activities and results
• Ensure compliance with laboratory safety and infection control standards
• Support Medical Laboratory Scientists in diagnostic procedures

Requirements and Qualifications
Mandatory Requirements:

• Diploma or Certificate in Medical Laboratory Technology
• Valid practicing license (where applicable)
• Minimum of 1–2 years laboratory experience is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of laboratory procedures and equipment
• Good attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a hospital laboratory
• Familiarity with standard laboratory safety procedures
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
