Job Title: Junior Quantity Surveyor

Location: Lekki 1, Lagos

Job Description

• We are looking for a young, enthusiastic individual with 2-3 years’ cognate experience who will provide commercial assistance to our teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting and supporting the Cost Managers, Estimators and Quantity Surveyors with the commercial function on projects, namely, applications for payment; identification, measurement and valuation of variations; subcontract accounts, monthly Budgeted Vs Actuals reporting, debt management and estimating.
• Inventory and Store Management.

Requirements

• A Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• 2-3 years of proven experience in the construction industry.
• Professional certification (or in-view) is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Project and email/internet.
• Good written and verbal communication skills and manner.
• Good adaptation, organizational and multi-tasking skills, with a keen eye for details and finer points
• Friendly yet professional manner. A good team worker.
• Strong analytical skills, with a high level of accuracy in calculations.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills to ensure deadlines are met.
• Proximity to Lekki/Ajah or environs is VERY important.
