Job Title: Junior Accountant

Job Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accountant for our client in Enugu. The client operates in the manufacturing industry, and the ideal candidate will have experience in accounting within a similar environment, with strong analytical skills and the ability to maintain accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing financial statements, budgets, and management reports.
• Record daily financial transactions and ensure proper documentation.
• Support accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Perform bank reconciliations and petty cash management.
• Assist with inventory accounting and cost analysis in line with manufacturing operations.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Provide support during audits and month-end/year-end closing.

Requirements

• HND, or BSc in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Previous experience in the manufacturing industry is required.
• Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage).
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
