Job Title: Junior Accountant

Job Summary

• The Junior Accountant will support the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements within a wealth and asset management environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of accounting records and ledgers
• Process invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations
• Support monthly and quarterly financial reporting
• Assist with portfolio accounting and investment-related reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal policies, and regulatory guidelines
• Support audits and respond to internal finance queries.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Economics
• 0 – 3 years relevant accounting experience
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.

Salary
N250,000 / month.
