Job Title: Journey Controller

Location: Ijegun-Egba, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Overview

• We are seeking an experienced Journey controller to work with our team to ensure safe, timely, effective and efficient movement of our trucks from Depots to client’s location.
• The ideal candidate should possess 2-3 years in-depth knowledge of logistics processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for journey / route planning for our fleet of trucks.
• Real time monitoring and tracking of trucks
• Monitoring driving hours and flagging night-driving, over-speeding, unnecessary parking and any other related infractions.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, industry standards, and safety protocols within the oil and gas sector.
• Flagging night-driving, Over-speeding, unnecessary parking and any other related infractions.
• Investigating incidents and implementing corrective actions.

Educational Qualification and Experience

• First Degree (First class or Second-Class Upper Division) / HND in Transportation or any other related field
• 2 years relevant experience in oil & gas logistics operations.
• Must possess HSE 1,2 ,3 from Institute of Safety Professionals of Nigeria (ISPON)

Required Skills:

• Proven knowledge of logistics and supply chain operations in Oil and Gas Industry.
• Proven knowledge of road-hazard assessment
• Proficient in the usage of tracking devices
