Job Description

• We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Java Developer to join our dynamic team.
• The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain efficient and scalable Java-based applications, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that align with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, software engineers, and stakeholders to define system requirements and deliver functional solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and design patterns.
• Debug and troubleshoot applications to resolve software defects, ensuring smooth functionality.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement of software development processes.
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate third-party tools, services, and databases as required.
• Optimize application performance by analyzing, identifying, and improving bottlenecks.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in Java development.
• Work in an agile environment, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Java Developer or in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Core Java, Java EE, and Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, etc.).
• Experience with developing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ORM tools (Hibernate).
• Hands-on experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
• Proficiency in debugging tools, performance tuning, and testing frameworks (JUnit/TestNG).
• Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a bonus.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Salary
N400,000 monthly.
