Job Title: Iron Bender Foreman

Description

• Java Construction is seeking an experienced and skilled Iron Bender Foreman to join our construction team.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate iron bending and reinforcement works on site.
• Read and interpret structural drawings, bar bending schedules, and reinforcement details.
• Ensure reinforcement bars are cut, bent, and fixed according to specifications.
• Supervise iron benders and steel fixers and allocate daily tasks.
• Ensure reinforcement works are completed accurately and within project timelines.
• Monitor the quality and proper placement of reinforcement materials.
• Coordinate with Site Engineers and other construction teams.
• Ensure compliance with site safety procedures and proper use of PPE.
• Maintain proper use and care of tools and equipment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in iron bending and reinforcement works, with experience in a supervisory role.
• Proven experience on construction sites, preferably on large-scale projects.
• Good knowledge of reinforcement works, bar bending, and steel fixing.
• Ability to read and understand structural drawings and bar bending schedules.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Good knowledge of construction site safety practices.
