Job Title: IP Engineer

Job Brief

• We are seeking a skilled IP Engineer to design, implement, and support IP-based network infrastructure for seamless data, voice, and video transmission.
• The ideal candidate will ensure network reliability, security, and high performance across core and access layers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain IP/MPLS network infrastructure.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot routing, switching, or connectivity issues.
• Implement and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Support integration of IP transport for voice (VoIP), data, and mobile services.
• Perform network upgrades, patches, and capacity planning.
• Ensure network security through proper access controls and firewall configurations.
• Document network topology, configurations, and changes.
• Provide support for network incidents and escalations.

Requirements

• Degree or HND in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics, or related field.
• 2–5 years experience in IP networking, preferably in telecom.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs, and QoS.
• Relevant certificates (e.g., CCNP, JNCIP) are an added advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
