Job Title: Investor Relations Associate

Location: Lagos

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Portfolio Execution: Assist in the day-to-day management of the client portfolio, ensuring timely execution of fund management tasks and administrative requests.
• Sales Support: Actively contribute to hitting annual sales targets through lead generation, cold calling, and follow-ups with prospective clients.
• Market Research: Conduct ongoing research on market trends (micros and macros) and regulatory changes to provide data-driven insights for the senior team.
• Client Onboarding: Coordinate the end-to-end onboarding process for new clients, ensuring all KYC (Know Your Customer) and compliance documentation is met.
• Communication Materials: Draft high-quality proposals, pitch decks, and presentations that clearly articulate the MBO Capital value proposition.
• Relationship Support: Build rapport with existing clients, acting as a responsive first point of contact for queries, complaints, and transactional requests.
• Reporting:Prepare weekly and monthly market literature and business reports for management review.
• Compliance Oversight: Ensure all daily transactions and client files are strictly aligned with the financial services industry regulatory framework.

Educational & Professional Qualification

• Degree: B.Sc. in Economics, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: 4–6 years of experience in Investment Banking, Treasury Sales, or Business Development.
• Certification: Progress toward professional qualifications (e.g., ICAN, ACCA, or CFA Level 1) is highly preferred.

Competency Requirements:

• Technical Proficiency: Strong grasp of Wealth Management tools and advanced Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint skills.
• Financial Literacy: Ability to interpret financial statements and basic understanding of equity and debt markets.
• Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for professional client interaction.
• Agility: Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines.
• Detail-Oriented: High level of accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.

Salary
N800,000 – N900,000 / Month.
