Job Title: Inventory and Procurement Officer (FMCG)

Job Description

• A fast-growing FMCG brand is looking for a resourceful and detail-driven Inventory & Procurement Officer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Inventory Management & Stock Planning.
• Maintain accurate records for raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
• Conduct regular stock counts and investigate discrepancies.
• Monitor minimum stock thresholds and forecast material needs.
• Ensure availability of finished goods for B2B & B2C order fulfillment.
• Procurement & Vendor Coordination.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers.
• Track pricing, lead times, contracts, and performance.
• Support production and sales with timely procurement.
• Cost & Waste Management.
• Reduce procurement costs by 10–15% annually.
• Identify and solve stock wastage or mismanagement issues.
• Documentation & Compliance.
• Maintain purchase orders, delivery notes, and vendor records.
• Ensure full compliance with company procurement policies.
• Reporting & Cross-Functional Collaboration.
• Provide weekly procurement and inventory reports.
• Support logistics and sales with stock updates

Requirements
Education & Experience:

• B.Sc./HND in Supply Chain, Business Admin, or related field.
• 2–3 years’ experience in a similar role within FMCG or Manufacturing

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency with Excel or inventory systems (ERP experience is a plus).
• Solid data tracking, forecasting, and supplier negotiation skills

Soft Skills:

• Detail-oriented and proactive
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Salary
N150,000 – N200,000 monthly
