Job Title: Inventory Officer

Location: Kano

Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Officer to manage daily inventory activities, maintain optimal stock levels, and ensure supplies are always available.
• The successful candidate will work closely with the procurement team to prepare purchase orders, receive and dispatch goods, manage stock levels, and maintain accurate inventory records.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain accurate inventory records, including receipt, storage, and issuance of goods
• Conduct regular stock takes and reconcile inventory discrepancies
• Implement and maintain effective inventory control processes and procedures
• Track stock levels, monitor inventory movements, and identify slow-moving or obsolete stock
• Collaborate with logistics, procurement, and finance teams to ensure seamless inventory management
• Identify and implement process improvements to optimize inventory management
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
• Must have 2-3 years of experience in inventory management or a related field
• Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
