We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Inventory Officer

Location: Lagos

Key Responsibilities

• Stock Control: Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment to prevent shortages.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate, up-to-date computerized inventory records of all incoming and outgoing goods.
• Physical Audits: Perform regular physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Receiving/Dispatching: Inspect incoming shipments for quality and quantity against purchase orders.
• Storage Management: Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of goods, often using FIFO (First-In, First-Out) methods.
• Reporting: Generate daily/weekly inventory reports for management, including stock levels and aging analysis

Key Skills and Qualifications

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in inventory management software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
• Attention to Detail: High accuracy in counting, recording, and reporting.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to manage storage spaces efficiently and maintain safety standards.
• Numeracy & Analytics: Ability to analyze data to forecast requirements and set reorder points.
• Education/Experience: Typically requires a Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Business Administration , or a related field with 1-3 years of experience.
