Today, Montaigne Place operations extend across retail, wholesale, spa & wellness, with its flagship retail division, Montaigne Place, boasting a network of Forty (40) outlets throughout Nigeria. These outlets are strategically located in Lagos, the country’s commercial hub, as well as in Abuja, the capital city, and Port Harcourt, along with other prominent cities.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Inventory Assistant

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Inventory Management: Conduct regular cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies, and maintain accurate stock levels in WMS/ERP systems to prevent shortages or overstocking
  • Receiving and Shipping: Verify inbound shipments, inspect items for damage, record receipts, and assist in picking, packing, and staging outbound orders following company standards
  • Record Keeping: Maintain SKU master data, including item dimensions, barcodes, lot/serial numbers, and reorder points.
  • Data Entry and Analysis: Enter inventory data accurately, analyze stock trends, and assist in reporting for management review.
  • Administrative Support: Prepare routine correspondence, presentations, and support office tasks as needed.
  • Loss Prevention and Continuous Improvement: Identify root causes of discrepancies, suggest improvements, and implement corrective actions to reduce shrinkage.

Qualifications

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; some positions may prefer an associate or bachelor’s degree in business, finance, management, or related fields.
  • Relevant experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or administrative supportis often preferred

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency ininventory management softwareand Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word.
  • Strongorganizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Attention to detail andnumerical accuracyfor stock tracking and reporting.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Salary
N100,000 – N120,000 per month.
