We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Inventory Analyst

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Analyst to manage and optimize inventory levels across our retail pharmacy.
  • The ideal candidate will ensure accurate stock records, minimize shortages or overstocking, and support efficient pharmacy operations by providing timely data analysis and inventory insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze inventory levels for all pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical products.
  • Maintain accurate stock records using pharmacy inventory management systems (e.g., Shelf Life, SmartRx).
  • Track product expiration dates and coordinate timely disposal or return to suppliers.
  • Forecast inventory needs based on sales trends, seasonality, and promotional activity.
  • Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile with system data to identify variances.
  • Collaborate with pharmacists and procurement teams to manage replenishment orders.
  • Set reorder levels and alert thresholds for critical and high-demand medications.
  • Identify and report inventory discrepancies, pilferage, or wastage.
  • Generate inventory reports (weekly/monthly) for management review.
  • Assist in implementing inventory control policies and improving inventory turnover ratios.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and pharmaceutical inventory guidelines (e.g., NAFDAC).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in inventory analysis or stock control.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards in the pharmaceutical sector.

Salary
N150,000 – N170,000 Monthly.
