New Star Metal International Limited is a company that manufactures Aluminum ingot and package non-ferrous metals for exportation. The company has recently diversified into PET recycling.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: International Sales and Marketing Officer (PET Recycling Company)

Location: Owode Onirin, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The International Sales and Marketing Officer is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to promote the company’s PET recycling products in global markets.
  • This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with international clients, and enhancing the company’s brand presence worldwide.
  • The officer will work closely with various departments to drive sales growth and support the company’s sustainability initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in international markets.
  • Analyze competitor activities and industry developments to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare market entry strategies for new regions and products.

Sales Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve international sales targets.
  • Identify potential clients and develop a pipeline of business opportunities.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with international customers and distributors.

Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders in target markets.
  • Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events to promote the company and its products.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty.

Marketing and Promotion:

  • Develop marketing materials and campaigns to promote PET recycling products internationally.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance the company’s online presence and branding efforts.
  • Utilize digital marketing strategies to reach international audiences effectively.

Sales Reporting and Forecasting:

  • Prepare regular sales reports and performance forecasts for management review.
  • Track sales metrics and adjust strategies as necessary to meet objectives.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on sales performance data.

Collaboration and Coordination:

  • Work closely with production, logistics, and finance teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment and delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations.
  • Support sustainability initiatives by promoting environmentally friendly practices in sales and marketing activities.

Training and Development:

  • Stay updated on industry trends, product knowledge, and best practices in international sales and marketing.
  • Provide training and support to team members on international sales processes and strategies.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Trade, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of proven experience in international sales and marketing, preferably in the recycling or manufacturing sectors.

Skills:

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to analyze market data and generate actionable insights.
  • Knowledge of international trade regulations and logistics.

Salary
N100,000 – N120,000 / Month.
