Job Title: Internal Corporate Communications Specialist

Job Summary

• The Internal Corporate Communications Specialist is critical in ensuring effective organizational communication.
• They are responsible for developing and implementing internal communication strategies that foster employee engagement, alignment with corporate objectives, and a positive organizational culture.

Key Responsibilities
Internal Messaging:

• Develop and disseminate clear, consistent, and compelling internal messages, announcements, and updates.
• Ensure messaging alignment with the company’s values, vision, and strategic goals.

Content Creation:

• Create engaging content for various internal communication channels, such as newsletters, emails, intranet, and digital signage.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to generate informative and relevant content.

Channel Management:

• Manage and maintain internal communication channels, ensuring their effectiveness and relevance.
• Evaluate and recommend improvements to communication platforms.

Employee Engagement:

• Develop initiatives and campaigns that enhance employee engagement, morale, and a sense of belonging.
• Organize events, town hall meetings, and forums to facilitate dialogue between employees and leadership.

Change Communication:

• Assist in the communication of organizational changes, including mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, and policy updates.
• Provide guidance to employees during periods of change.

Feedback Mechanisms:

• Establish feedback mechanisms to gauge the effectiveness of internal communication efforts.
• Analyze feedback and make adjustments to communication strategies as needed.

Training and Development:

• Conduct training sessions for employees on effective communication practices.
• Promote communication skills development across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
• 4 years and above experience.
• Proven experience in corporate communications, preferably in an internal communications role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with communication tools and technologies.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
