Apple & Pears Limited was incorporated in the year 2012 as an Agro Allied & Food Industry to produce soya meal, concentrate and finished feed for the poultry industry, and refined edible oil, mayonnaise, ketchup, salad cream, vinegar,custard powder and Chocolate Drink for the Nigerian market.

The company has invested millions of dollars in land, building, construction of infrastructural facilities and machinery, with one goal in mind and that is to have an integrated facility encompassing the complete value chain of the soya bean business, from sourcing, processing, extraction, refining, packaging and distribution of a wide range of premium products. In response to environmental concerns, we have installed solar panels to partially power the plant on solar energy also we have a state of the art effluent treatment plant to treat and reuse the water discharged during the various production processes.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Internal Control / Audit Assistant

Location: Sagamu, Ogun
Start Date: Successful candidates must be available to resume immediately.

About the Role

• We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Audit Assistant to support our Audit Officers in executing audit assignments across company operations.
• The ideal candidate will play a key role in strengthening our internal control systems and ensuring compliance with established policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with stock verification, documentation, and review of internal controls.
• Conduct spot checks and compliance monitoring exercises.
• Maintain audit working papers and follow up on audit queries.
• Provide support during investigations, reviews, and other special assignments.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of an OND in Accounting, Social Sciences, or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in audit, control, or accounting functions.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent documentation and organizational skills.
• Must reside in, or be willing to relocate to, Sagamu.
