Job Title: Internal Auditor

About the Role

• We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Internal Auditor to join our team in Ibadan.
• The ideal candidate will bring experience from a top-tier audit firm and possess a solid understanding of internal control systems, risk management, and audit practices.
• This role is pivotal in ensuring organizational compliance, mitigating risks, and enhancing operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of internal audit processes and frameworks.
• Conduct comprehensive audits across various company sites and departments.
• Prepare detailed audit reports outlining findings, risks, and actionable recommendations.
• Execute audit program reviews and testing in alignment with professional standards and company policies.
• Identify system and procedural gaps and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Participate in audit meetings and present findings to relevant stakeholders.
• Assist in the formulation of the annual internal audit plan.
• Perform data analytics to detect and prevent fraud or internal theft.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CIA certification is highly desirable.
• Prior experience at one of the Big 4 accounting firms (Deloitte, EY, KPMG, or PwC) is strongly preferred.
• 3–6 years of hands-on experience in internal or external auditing.
• Must be a Nigerian citizen.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.

Salary
N600,000 monthly (Negotiable).
