One Acre, founded in 2006, supplies smallholder farmers with the agricultural services they need to make their farms more productive. Job Title: Internal Audit Specialist

Location: Nigeria
Contract Duration: 2 Years

About the Role

• Seeking an Internal Audit Specialist for our Growth Country Units to supervise key audits and strengthen operational controls.
• Partner with senior leaders to drive efficiency, prevent fraud, and safeguard financial health as we scale.

Responsibilities
Plan and supervise the execution of medium-complexity audits and management requests with little or no manager support:

• Own execution of internal audit tests
• Deliver high-quality reviews in compliance with Internal Audit Methodology
• Coordinate the team to ensure delivery of the audit report and management reports in compliance with IA methodology
• Innovate and solve audit plan execution challenges/ problems (e.g swapping audits due to other conflicting events)
• Support the delivery of IA OKRs as they relate to the country program

Own findings related to team lead level or defined grade 2&3:

• Report  findings to management
• Work with management responsible for the findings to develop resolutions
• Regularly follow up with management responsible to ensure findings are resolved

Qualifications
For this role specifically, you will have:

• 3+ years of Audit experience
• 3+ years of Experience with accounting and auditing applications such as SAP, Symbiant
• 3+ years of Experience with Data Analytics Tools such as Power BI
• Audit Findings and Report-writing experience.
