Job Description

• The Industrial Electrical Technician/Rewinder ensures the reliable operation of MATNA Foods’ electrical systems and equipment by performing installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and rewinding of motors and electrical components.
• This role is critical to minimizing downtime, supporting production efficiency, and maintaining compliance with global food manufacturing standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems, motors, and control panels.
• Carry out rewinding of electric motors, transformers, and related equipment to restore functionality.
• Install, test, and calibrate electrical components and machinery in line with engineering standards.
• Monitor electrical systems to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operations.
• Support preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to reduce breakdowns.
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and compliance checks accurately.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Adhere strictly to MATNA Foods’ health, safety, and food compliance policies.
• Recommend improvements to enhance equipment reliability and energy efficiency.

Qualifications

• Technical Diploma, trade test certification, or OND in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years’ experience in industrial electrical maintenance, preferably within FMCG or food manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of motor rewinding, electrical installations, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical manuals.
• Proficiency in using electrical tools, testing instruments, and rewinding equipment.
• Commitment to health, safety, and compliance standards in industrial environments.
• Attention to detail, accountability, and problemsolving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced manufacturing setting.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Physical ability to perform handson electrical and rewinding tasks safely.
