Job Description

• IGCSE Mathematics Teacher is responsible for delivering the Cambridge International curriculum to secondary school students. They create engaging lesson plans, assess student progress, and foster a learning environment that promotes critical thinking and academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Curriculum Delivery: Teach IGCSE Mathematics in alignment with Cambridge standards.
• Lesson Planning: Design and implement structured lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs.
• Assessment & Evaluation: Prepare students for internal and external assessments, including mock exams and the IGCSE exams.
• Classroom Management: Maintain discipline and create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
• Student Support: Provide academic guidance, mentorship, and feedback to help students reach their full potential.
• Professional Development: Participate in training, workshops, and school events to stay updated with educational best practices.
• Collaboration: Work with other teachers, parents, and school leadership to support student learning and school goals.

Educational Requirements

• Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
• Preferred: Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or equivalent teaching qualification.

Experience:

• Minimum: 1 year of teaching experience, preferably in an international or IGCSE curriculum school.
