Job Title: ICT Teacher

Responsibilities

• We need a skilled technologist who can teach, not just someone comfortable with PowerPoint.
• Your practical networking experience; setting up LANs, troubleshooting connectivity problems, and understanding TCP/IP protocols, should be complemented by genuine software development knowledge.
• Can you teach Python or JavaScript to IGCSE students and debug their code effectively? We’re looking for someone who has possibly worked in IT support, software development, or systems administration before moving into education, bringing real-world credibility to the classroom.
• You should be comfortable teaching everything from digital literacy to Year 7 students through to A-Level Computer Science, covering databases, algorithms, and computational thinking.
• Experience with educational platforms (Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams, learning management systems), cybersecurity awareness, and possibly some cloud computing knowledge would be highly desirable. We would love someone who can run coding clubs, prepare students for programming competitions, and possibly even manage some of our school’s technical infrastructure.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a relevant field
• Minimum of 4 years teaching experience in a similar role
• Valid teaching certification/license/PGDE
• Excellent command of the English language (written and spoken)
• Strong classroom management skills
• Proficiency in modern teaching methodologies
• Knowledge of Digital tools
