We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Hygiene & Facility Supervisor – B2b, Golden Penny Foods

Location: Apapa, Lagos

Purpose​

• To supervise and coordinate hygiene, sanitation, and housekeeping activities across the facility, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

The Job​

• Supervise hygiene, sanitation, and housekeeping activities across the facility to ensure compliance with established procedures and standards.
• Conduct routine inspections of production areas and other operational facilities to identify hygiene risks, housekeeping issues, and non-conformances, ensuring timely corrective action.
• Ensure cleaning and sanitation activities are carried out according to approved procedures and schedules, maintaining accurate records of all activities.
• Monitor the placement, condition, and servicing of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) devices and ensure proper waste segregation, storage, and disposal.
• Ensure Critical Control Points (CCPs) and other hygiene-sensitive areas are cleaned in accordance with approved schedules and maintain the required documentation.
• Prepare hygiene and sanitation reports, monitor performance indicators, and support internal and external audits, inspections, and recertification exercises.
• Monitor the availability and proper use of cleaning chemicals, tools, equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE).

Qualifications

• Minimum of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in science or a related discipline.
• 5 O-level credits including Mathematics & English in not more than 2 sittings.

Experience​:​

• Minimum of 2 years’ cognate experience in hygiene, sanitation, or housekeeping within an FMCG or manufacturing environment.

The Person Must:​

• Have good knowledge of hygiene, sanitation, housekeeping, and food safety practices in a manufacturing environment.
• Understand GMP requirements, pest control procedures, waste management, and cleaning and sanitation protocols.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail in identifying hygiene risks and ensuring compliance with established standards.
