Job Title: HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) Technician

Location: Ketu, Lagos

Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled and proactive HVAC Technician to join our manufacturing team.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across our production and administrative facilities.
• This role is critical to ensuring optimal climate control for equipment performance, employee comfort, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, and maintain HVAC systems including chillers, boilers, air handlers, and exhaust systems.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in HVAC systems and perform timely repairs.
• Monitor and adjust building automation systems (BAS) to optimize energy efficiency.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance and maintain accurate service records.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to support temperature-sensitive operations.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and participate in on-call rotation as needed.
• Recommend upgrades or replacements for aging HVAC infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Technical Diploma or Certification in HVAC or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years HVAC experience, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
• Familiarity with building management systems (BMS) and energy management practices.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.
