We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Human Resources Officer

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a proactive and organized HR Officer to join our team in Abuja. This role is central to our people operations, focusing on the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, employee relations, and the implementation of efficient HR administrative processes.
  • The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting policies, and helping to foster a productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding:

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle: drafting job descriptions, posting to relevant portals, and screening resumes.
  • Conduct initial interviews and coordinate subsequent rounds with department heads.
  • Oversee the onboarding process to ensure new hires are successfully integrated into the company culture and systems.

HR Administration & Compliance:

  • Maintain organized and up-to-date employee records (contracts, leave tracking, and performance files).
  • Ensure company policies remain compliant with Nigerian Labor Laws and local regulations in Abuja.
  • Prepare monthly HR reports regarding headcount, turnover, and recruitment progress.

Performance Management:

  • Facilitate the performance appraisal process, ensuring feedback is documented and constructive.
  • Assist in identifying training needs and coordinating staff development programs.

Employee Relations:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for employee grievances and conflict resolution.
  • Organize team-building activities and initiatives to improve workplace morale.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3–4 years of experience in an HR role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in modern HRIS tools and project management software
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on clarity and directness.
  • Location: Must be residing in or willing to commute to Wesu 2, Abuja.

Preferred Skills

  • Strong negotiation and interviewing skills.
  • High level of discretion and integrity when handling confidential information.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Salary
N250,000 – N300,000 / Month.
