Job Title: Human Resources (HR) Officer

Location: Enugu

Job Summary

  • We are hiring an HR Officer to support daily human resources activities, including recruiting, payroll processing, employee relations, and compliance with labor laws.
  • The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced in managing HR functions within a structured organization.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with recruiting, selecting, and onboarding new employees.
  • Keep accurate employee records and maintain HR databases.
  • Process payroll and ensure timely payment of statutory deductions.
  • Handle employee relations, resolve grievances, and manage disciplinary actions.
  • Support training, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to labor laws, company policies, and regulatory standards.
  • Prepare HR reports and provide administrative support to management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of proven experience in HR roles.
  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HR management software.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information and work under pressure.
