Job Description

• We are seeking an engaging Human Resource Manager to join their team. As the Human Resource Manager in our Ibese Cement Plant, you will play a vital role in implementing and managing HR policies and programs to ensure the efficient management of human resources for the Plant.
• In this position, you will collaborate with functional heads within the Plant to enhance workforce planning, track and monitor manning levels, and keep attrition rates at a minimum.
• You will also be responsible for implementing career and performance management practices, providing guidance to the Plant’s management on HR issues, and performing other HR-related duties as assigned.

Requirements
Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent in a relevant discipline
• Professional qualification in HR Management, such as Senior Professional in HR (SPHR) or Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM), is an added advantage

Experience:

• Minimum of eight (8) years of progressive HR work experience

Skills and Competencies:

• Excellent knowledge of HR management processes, including organization development, manpower planning, and recruitment
• Strong understanding of employee and industrial relations, as well as labor and employment legislations in Nigeria
• Leadership and relationship management skills
• Presentation and communication skills
• Organization and project management skills
• Business writing skills.
