We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Human Resource Generalist

Location: CMD Road, Magodo – Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • We are hiring a Human Resources Generalist to support our management team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to supporting supporting the Management team.
  • Overseeing all activities of the HR department.
  • Regular update and management of staff database, leave schedule, etc on HRIS
  • Ensure due and timely confirmation of staff
  • Ensure a good digital and e-filing system for all staff documents
  • Facilitate Management Meetings, Quarterly business reviews, and other goal-oriented meetings
  • Prepare payroll variation monthly, alongside the Accounts Team
  • Loan administration for qualified staff
  • Documentation of Company Policies and regulations
  • Quarterly review units SOPs
  • Assist Inventory in planning Quarterly stocktaking activities
  • Ensure smooth communication of management decisions to all staff
  • Ensure timely responses to employee issues
  • Ensure availability of work tools across all units
  • Provide quarterly report on HR activities
  • Handle all HR requisitions to account
  • Handle the Staff motivation and welfare E.g. communicate Birthday celebrants monthly
  • Implement disciplinary actions
  • Carry out disciplinary measures
  • Carry out conflict resolutions among staff
  • And any other tasks assigned by management

Qualifications

  • BA/BSC./HND Human Resources, Personnel Management, Business Administration, Management/Humanities
  • At least 3 years of work experience as HR lead
  • Good knowledge of HR procedures and processes with the ability to juggle various administrative tasks in a timely manner.
  • Proficiency in office suites, HR Software (Peoplehum,Zoho, etc)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skill
  • People management skills
  • Organizational and operational skills
  • Good Knowledge of Nigerian Labour Laws
  • Management and Leadership skills
  • Excellent decision making skills
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, power point and outlook)
  • Attentive to details and a continuous improvement mindset
  • Member of HR Professional body is an added advantage
