We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Human Resource Business Partner

Location: Lagos
Job type: Full-time

Job Description

  • The HRBP will work closely with management and line managers to drive people strategies that support business objectives.
  • The role oversees core HR functions across the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, performance management, employee engagement, and HR operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with line managers on workforce planning, recruitment, and onboarding.
  • Coordinate performance management processes, appraisals, and feedback cycles.
  • Support learning and development initiatives, including training needs assessment and implementation.
  • Manage HR operations including employee records, confirmations, leave administration, and payroll variations.
  • Drive employee relations, engagement initiatives, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and Nigerian Labour Laws.
  • Support reward, recognition, and incentive administration.
  • Provide periodic HR reports and ensure effective communication of management decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of proven experience in a similar HR role, preferably in a retail, healthcare, or pharmacy setting.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and the end-to-end HR value chain.
  • Working knowledge of Nigerian Labour Laws.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and people skills.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems.
  • Must live within or close to Magodo
